Thanks to the Volunteer crew that covered the Bacon, Bourbon & Music Fest at Windsor Castle in Smithfield on October 5th. This is one of the Large outdoor events that IWVRS covers throughout the year. This event was Sold Out with more than 4000 people attending.

A BIG THANK YOU to all the Station 60 volunteers that spent long hours, busy days, hot/humid conditions, large crowds and four total days serving the IOW County Fair standby. This was a Record Breaking Event with over 35,000 people attending. IWVRS had a total of (19) nineteen different volunteers to serve duty over the four day event. IWVRS EMT Class has started. This is their first step towards becoming a National Registry Emergency Medical Technician. EMTs are trained in practical emergency medical knowledge and skills that can be deployed within a rapid time frame.
