To become a member, you MUST be: CPR certified AND EMT certified (Emergency Medical Technician certified or higher) or CPR certified AND EVOC certified (Emergency Vehicle Operations Certified). The Rescue Squad offers BLS for healthcare providers classes every second Wednesday of the month from 6:00-10:00 PM. A description and link of the class is provided below. Today, along with Chief Humphries and many other Isle of Wight employees and friends, I had the privilege to attend the Virginia Fallen Firefighter and EMS memorial in Richmond, VA.
